The Season 27 Winner Of The Voice Is…Adam David Of Team Bublé!

Adam David only earned a one-chair turn during the blind auditions for The Voice, but Michael Bublé believed in him from the start. Now, he’s the winner of Season 27!

Adam auditioned with a cover of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way.” Michael appeared captivated by his voice and told Adam exactly how he felt about him.

“I hope that I will bring you as much joy as you’re gonna bring me every single time we work together and I hear you sing.”

After delivering top-notch covers of songs such as “I Shall Be Released,” “Unaware,” and Michael’s own song, “Home,” Adam advanced into the live semi-finals. But it shocked his fans when he landed in jeopardy at the end of the May 13 results show.

Adam and three other at-risk contestants competed for the Instant Save in the hopes of snagging the last remaining spot in the finale. Understanding the weight of the moment, Adam poured his whole soul into a cover of Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control.”

His efforts paid off, because the viewers voted for him to be the fifth Voice finalist!

Adam continued to prove himself during the two-night finale, delivering powerful covers of “Hard Fought Hallelujah” and “You Are So Beautiful” on May 19.

He also joined his coach in singing The Band’s iconic track, “The Weight,” during Tuesday night’s (May 20) results show.

Then, the moment Voice fans had been waiting for finally arrived. One at a time, host Carson Daly revealed the placement of the Top 5 contestants, until only Adam and Team Kelsea’s Jaelen Johnston remained onstage.

After much anticipation, Carson announced that Adam had won The Voice!

What Are Adam David’s Plans After Winning The Voice?

Adam David’s win makes Michael Bublé one of only a few coaches to win back-to-back seasons of The Voice. He won Season 26 with Sofronio Vasquez.

After everything they’ve been through together, Adam and Michael were thrilled with the results of Season 27. Speaking to TV Insider after the finale aired, Michael said:

“I don’t think I’ve ever stared at Carson Daly’s lips so intensely. I was hoping he’d start to say ‘A’ [as in Adam]. I was literally looking at his lips.”

Michael added, “Adam and I have become really close. I was heavily invested in our friendship. I was [ultimately] much less worried about me not winning than I was just wanting my buddy to win.”

When asked what was going through his mind right before he found out he won, Adam simply said, “I was hoping that my name would be called.

As for his plans now that The Voice is over, Adam said, “I want to put out some music and go on tour. I want to play. I want to play for audiences and not, you know, empty rooms.”

He also had “a conversation” with the person who runs the summer camp arts program he attended when he was younger. There’s a chance he may return to help inspire a new generation of artists.
