Lainey Wilson Wins Big At 2023 ACM Awards
Lainey Wilson had quite the night at the ACM Awards on Thursday (May 11).
The “Heart Like a Truck” singer and Yellowstone star was one of the night’s biggest winners. She took home four awards: Visual Media of the Year, Music Event of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year.
Wilson delivered a powerful acceptance speech after winning Female Artist of the Year. She thanked her family, her team, and Jesus. She also paid tribute to the female artists who paved the path for her…including her fellow nominees.
She ended her speech by saying:
“I made so many sacrifices – missing a lot of weddings and funerals. Not like I want to go to all of them anyway, but I’m just saying. For the little girls watching this, this stands for hard work. If you are going to be a dreamer, you better be a doer.”
