In the latest segment of her popular “Kellyoke” series, Kelly Clarkson took center stage with a powerful rendition of Little Big Town’s “Boondocks.”

Known for her ability to put her own unique twist on songs across various genres during her hit series “Kellyoke,” Kelly Clarkson’s knack for country music shone through once again in her choice of cover during the latest episode of her daytime talk show.

With her band, named “Y’all,” providing backup, Clarkson brought a perfect blend of heart and energy to her performance of Little Big Town’s hit track. Stepping onto the stage with confidence, she made the song her own while still honoring the original.

About Little Big Town’s “Boondocks”

The song “Boondocks” from country music group Little Big Town, has proven to be a country favorite that stands the test of time. Released in May of 2005, the track was the lead single from the band’s second studio album, The Road to Here. Written by band members Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Phillip Sweet, Jimi Westbrook, and songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick, “Boondocks” marked Little Big Town’s first entry into the Top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The song “Boondocks” retains its status as one of Little Big Town’s most successful and beloved tracks, continuing to be performed at their shows to this day.
