On August 16, 2024, Post Malone released not one but two country albums.

F-1 Trillion was a highly-anticipated project following months of teasing countless collaborations with some of country music’s biggest stars, including Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton, HARDY, Brad Paisley, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and more.

There was so much fanfare and excitement about the album that it had already sold 500,000 units before it was even released, certifying it Gold by the RIAA.

Several hours after the release of F-1 Trillion, which only featured three solo songs, the rapper-singer surprised everyone with a second album titled F-1 Trillion: Long Bed. This album includes nine solo tracks.

Post Malone made big waves at both the ACM and the CMA Awards in 2024 and 2023, respectively.

It what has now become his first foray into country music, Post Malone joined Morgan Wallen and HARDY for a tribute to Joe Diffie at the CMA Awards in November 2023.

Shortly after his appearance, he confirmed a country record was already in the works. At the ACM Awards in 2024, he performed two songs off his new album, as well as a surprise duet with Reba McEntire.

But it seems those award shows weren’t exactly his first country crossovers. Back on October 16, 2022, Post Malone was on his Twelve Carat Tour when he stopped at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

He performed 23 of his songs, where he rapped and sang…none of which were even remotely considered country.

Despite the genre, he did have a country legend in attendance – Randy Travis!

After the show, Post Malone invited the country legend backstage to play beer pong with him and his friends. Travis took to Facebook and shared a video of their interaction.

Alongside the video, Travis wrote, Post Malone is the nicest guy in the world — taught me how to play beer pong the other night! And his fans and crew are incredible! So much love and positivity in the room. I enjoyed the heck out of his show!”

To celebrate the release of F-1 Trillion, Travis once again shared the video to his social media, but this time used the caption, “Congrats on the new album, @PostMalone! Thanks for hanging out after the show and teaching Randy a few beer pong tips…Truly one of the nicest guys out there. Make sure to give F-1 Trillion a listen!”
