Audrey McGraw, The Youngest Daughter Of Tim McGraw And Faith Hill, Released Her First Single On Friday, May 16

It’s a known fact that Tim and Faith’s three daughters inherited their talent and their passion for music. Their eldest, Gracie, first showed off her singing talent on her dad’s 2015 album Damn Country Music, where she appeared on the first track, “Here Tonight.” They have even performed it live together a handful of times.

Gracie, 28, lives in New York and is pursuing her Broadway dreams. Most recently, she performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the cast of The Great War & The Great Gatsby. The performance was filmed for a PBS special airing on Veterans Day.

Tim shared his pride on Instagram, writing, “It was a beautifully done performance by all, along with so many moving moments of our country, our people and the service of our men in the Great War……of course our Gracie was fantastic!!!!!!”

26-year-old Maggie, while not pursuing music, is still extremely talented and did sing in a band when she was younger. She often shows off her vocal chops now during the annual McGraw family karaoke sessions during the holidays.

On May 12, Audrey revealed that she would be releasing her very first single, a cover of Neil Diamond’s “I Am…I Said.”

When announcing her single, she wrote, “The first time I heard this song, I felt something deep in my soul. One late night, sitting at the piano, I made it a part of me. In the studio we brought it to life. Thank you to the sun mountain fam that helped me do so.”

Audrey Changed A Key Lyric

In the second verse, Diamond wrote, “Well I’m New Your City born and raised,” but Audrey changed the lyrics to, “Well I’m Nashville born and raised,” to make the song true to herself, having been raised by two country singers in Music City.

Her voice is hauntingly beautiful in her lower register, but when she’s able to fully belt, it gave us fully body chills. If this is anything like what her future songs will sound like, Audrey will have a successful music career just like her parents.

What we love most about Tim and Faith’s daughters, is that they are each forging their own path. The easy thing to do would have been to use their parents’ contacts within the country music world and pursue music that way, but each one of them have done the work themselves.
