Ree Drummond’s Granddaughter Is Her Most Adorable Viewer Yet
Ree Drummond became a grandmother on December 18, 2024, when her oldest daughter, Alex, gave birth to little Sophia.
Sophia is the daughter of Alex and her husband, Mauricio Scott, and she is only a few months old.
The Pioneer Woman shared her joy at being a grandparent in a recent Instagram video. In it, she plays with Sophia, delighting in the moment and getting the biggest laughs.
She shared,
“When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones, and confusion. I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven…I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift.”

In this video, Grandma is on the television screen, cooking up some fig and prosciutto pastries while her tiny granddaughter watches. Sophia sits in her little chair, captivated as her grandma prepares the food on screen. The almost five-month-old stares with rapt attention, though her face shows no emotion.
In the post, Ree Drummond joked about her grandaughters stoic face and shared that she hopped the little girl felt like her grandmother was with her.
