Miranda Lambert Shares Family Recipes In New Cookbook

Miranda Lambert recently released her first cookbook, Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen. The book contains recipes from Lambert, her mom, her grandma, and her mom’s closest friends.

The description of the book reads:

“Some [of the recipes]were handed down to Miranda from her mom and grandma, some come from the circle of cherished friends who helped raise her, and all of them are meant to be easy to prepare and shared with those you love.”

As Lambert explained in a post on social media, the ladies all got the idea to put their recipes together in a Shutterfly book. But Lambert soon realized they needed to share these recipes with the world…and that’s how Y’all Eat Yet became the cookbook it is today.

For example, one of the recipes in Y’all Eat Yet? is a recipe for a bunny sheet cake Lambert makes every Easter. She told CBS Mornings she’s made the cake since she was a child. Now, it’s a tradition for her to make it with her four-year-old stepson.

…my stepson’s four-and-a-half, and I make the bunny cake with him now,” she said. “So it’s really, it’s our tradition. This whole book is about carrying on traditions and making memories.”
