Why Will Urban Lead The Driving Lessons?

In a recent interview with Taste of Country Nights, Keith shared that he believes he has more patience than his wife, especially when it comes to tasks like teaching their children to drive.

Additionally, Keith mentioned that he isn’t afraid of the task.

“Stuff’s gonna happen, hopefully, if they go slow enough…someone said to me at the time, if you go slow, small things happen. If you go fast, big things happen,” Keith expressed.

The singer remarked that although the advice may sound “as simple as it gets,” it’s incredibly accurate.

Urban’s Journey As A Father

Keith reflected on his experience of becoming a parent later in life, acknowledging that being around children is fundamentally different from actually having them.

He expressed, “I realize that it’s not something that can be explained until you actually sort of have it, so I’m glad I got to experience that.”

Additionally, Keith said that he sees similarities between himself and his own father, sharing he was “very artistic and creative and very detailed.”

Kidman and Urban started their relationship in 2005 and exchanged vows the following year in Sydney. Together, they have two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

Now, with their eldest reaching the age to drive, it’s undoubtedly a significant milestone in their family, marking a new chapter in their household.

“I just love being a parent,” Keith said in an interview with ABC News in 2018. “I didn’t know that I’d ever get to be one.”

“It’s an incredible feeling. And having girls — I love having girls. You know, I come from a family with no sisters, one brother. So, it’s been quite the learning curve in a really good way.”

With the couple’s younger daughter, Faith Margaret, approaching 14 years old in December, it won’t be long before Keith is guiding her behind the wheel as well.

As Keith Urban takes on the task of teaching his daughters to drive, we wish him the best of luck and safe travels!
