Who Are The Coaches For Season 26 Of The Voice?

Season 25 of The Voice isn’t over yet, but fans already know three coaches, including John Legend, are leaving the show.

On Monday (May 13), The Voice revealed its coaches for Season 26, which starts in the fall. Country music legend Reba McEntire will return to serve as a coach for the third consecutive season.

The show will also welcome back Gwen Stefani. She previously served as a coach during Seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, 19, 22, and 24.

Additionally, The Voice is introducing two brand-new coaches next season. Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will join the lineup.

That means Voice fans will say “goodbye” to Season 25 coaches Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, and John Legend. At least for now.

Why Is John Legend Leaving The Voice?

After news broke that Legend would not return for Season 26, fans wanted to know the reason why.

Legend has been a longtime member of the Voice family. He first joined the show for Season 16, which he won with his team member Maelyn Jarmon.

The “All of Me” singer remained on the show through Season 22 before taking a break during Season 23. He returned to coach Seasons 24 and 25.

So why is Legend leaving The Voice again? He explained the reason during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

We’ve always got so many things going on,” he said. “I’ll be doing a lot of shows this summer and traveling overseas this summer.”

But Team Legend fans can breathe a sigh of relief. He promised this is merely a break, not a complete departure from The Voice.

I’ll be back…” he vowed. “If only I were actually going to take a break!

Legend currently has two team members in the Season 25 finale. So he has a chance to win the show again before he takes the next season off!
