Alan Jackson is a singer, songwriter, Grammy award winner, Grand Ole Opry member, and Country Music Hall of Famer. Now the country music legend is adding another title to his impressive resume….grandpa!
Jackson and his wife Denise will become grandparents in December when their daughter Ali and her husband, Sam Bradshaw, welcome their first child, a son. Ali is the second daughter of three born to Alan and Denise.
The baby news was first shared by Ali’s older sister, Mattie, who shared a screenshot of an Instagram post made by Ali that read, “Happy Anniversary to my husband and dad to be!! Of course your baby boy is due at the beginning of duck season.” Mattie added, “Did I mention my nephew coming 12/2022???”
The photo accompanied video clips of the gender reveal in which the dad-to-be, Sam, shot a clay disk filled with blue powder. Alan, Denise and their daughters can be seen reacting to the news, with Denise squealing and jumping with excitement.
“We have no idea what to do but we’re pumped!” Mattie captioned the gender reveal video.
Alan Jackson took to social media to share his excitement over becoming a grandpa. The “Little Bitty” singer shared a photo of him and Ali dancing at her wedding as well as a photo of Ali showing off her growing baby bump alongside her husband.
“Our baby is having a baby. Denise and I can’t wait to meet our first grandson in December! – AJ #YoullAlwaysBeMyBaby”, Alan captioned the pictures.
