Trace Adkins’ Daughter Mackenzie Was A Finalist On Season 3 Of Claim To Fame
Trace Adkins is proud of his daughter Mackenzie after she made it to the Season 3 finale of Claim to Fame.
If you aren’t familiar with Claim to Fame, the show introduces the audience to its cast on a first-name basis. Every competitor has a famous family connection, and it’s up to their fellow contestants to figure out who their celebrity relative is.
Throughout the competition, the contestants receive hints about their competitors’ relatives. While it may take them some time to reach the correct conclusion, viewers watching at home often figure out the competitors’ identities much faster.
It didn’t take long for country music fans to recognize one of the season’s top competitors, Mackenzie, as one of country singer, actor, and author Trace Adkins’ five daughters.

Mackenzie managed to stump most of her competitors and advanced to the Season 3 finale. She ended up coming in third place.
Michael Bolton’s nephew, Adam, was the winner. John Mellencamp’s son, Hud, came in second place.
Trace Says He’s “Proud” Of How Mackenzie Played The Game
Speaking to PEOPLE after the finale, Mackenzie shared the advice her country-singing father gave her before she filmed the show.
“My dad told me before I left, just be on all the episodes,” she said. “I played a good game.”
Trace knows a thing or two about reality competition shows. In 2013, he competed on and won The All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. He’s also served as the host of Ultimate Cowboy Showdown since 2019.
With Mackenzie’s identity revealed, Trace shared a post on social media congratulating her on a job well done. The “Ladies Love Country Boys” singer said:
“As the fans of @ClaimToFameABC now know…@MackenzieLynnAdkins is my daughter. I’m proud that you’re my daughter, Mackenzie. Congratulations on getting as far as you did. Love you.“
