Over the weekend, Tim Tebow traveled to his fiancee’s native South Africa to tie the knot.

On January 20, 2020, PEOPLE confirmed the two wed in an “intimate sunset ceremony” in Cape Town, South Africa at the La Paris Estate. 260 guests watched Tebow and Nel-Peters exchange vows in a ceremony that included elements from both of their cultures and traditions.
While photos from the wedding weren’t including in the PEOPLE article announcing their nuptials, the couple shared their own photos on Instagram. The photos Tebow shared was a sweet embrace between new husband and wife, with Nel-Peters on the receiving end of a kiss.
