The married duo, who rose to fame thanks to their hits “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” and “If I Didn’t Have You,” had two shows scheduled this week. The first at Prairie Band Casino & Resort in Mayetta, Kansas on Thursday Feb. 21, followed by a Grand Ole Opry performance on Saturday, Feb. 23.
Prairie Band Casino & Resort announced the concert’s cancellation on their Facebook page.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Thompson Square is unable to perform on February 21,” the venue wrote. “The show is cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Visit our website to see how to receive a full refund.”
Shawna and Kiefer have been on a press tour as of late to promote their brand-new children’s book Time To Get Dressed, which is inspired by their everyday experiences with their three-year-old son Cooper. Any appearance they had scheduled for Time To Get Dressed this weekend has also been cancelled.
