After months of competition, The Voice named its Season 24 winner Tuesday night (December 19) during a live results show.

One talented and lucky Voice finalist got a Christmas gift they will never forget as they were crowned the newest Voice champion. The Top 5 finalists included Team Niall’s Huntley and Mara Justine, Lila Forde of Team Legend, and Team Reba’s Ruby Leigh and Jacquie Roar.

Monday (Dec. 18), during the first night of the two-night finale event, each artist was tasked with singing an uptempo tune and a ballad in an effort to win America’s vote. Tuesday’s episode featured performances from this season’s Top 12 contestants, duets from each finalist and their coach, and a star-studded lineup that included performances from Jelly Roll, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban and more.

About The Finalists

Fun fact: All five of the finalists earned four-chair turns during their Blind Auditions!

Michael Huntley, known professionally as simply Huntley, is one of two finalists from Niall Horan’s team. The proud dad wowed the coaches during his Blind Audition with a cover of “She Talks To Angels” by The Black Crowes.

Mara Justine
, a 21-year-old native of New Jersey, joined Team Niall after the coach stole her from John Legend a few weeks into the competition. Mara’s Blind Audition stood out among fans due to her impromptu duet with Legend on his hit song, “All Of Me.”

Lila Forde
got the attention of coaches during her Blind Audition cover of Blind Faith’s “Can’t Find My Way Home.” Often compared to Joni Mitchell, the 24-year-old from Seattle has gained quite a following during her Voice run and is the only finalist representing John Legend’s team.

At 16, Ruby Leigh is this season’s youngest finalist. She joined Team Reba after they bonded over their love of country and western music following her performance of Patsy Montana’s “I Want To Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart.”

Jacquie Roar
is a 37-year-old wedding deejay from Oregon who got a four-chair turn with her Blind Audition performance of Gretchen Wilson’s “Here For The Party.” She originally chose to join Team Gwen, but made the move to Team Reba after narrowly avoiding elimination and being stolen by Reba.

The Voice Season 24 Winner

As in season’s past, host Carson Daly revealed the final placement of the Top 5 in reverse order. The finalist in 5th place was Lila Forde, followed by 4th place finisher Jacquie Roar and Mara Justine who landed in 3rd place. This left Team Reba’s Ruby Leigh and Team Niall’s Huntley in the Top 2!

After two-hours of performances from finalists, coaches and special guests, the winner of Season 24 of The Voice was announced. The new Voice champion is….Huntley! And Ruby Leigh of Team Reba finished in 2nd place.
