A video shared on social media a while back shows the moment two elderly gentlemen had their minds blown after experiencing what it was like to be driven around in a self-driving vehicle for the first time.
The video, filmed by a lady named Amanda, showed the two elderly men, Kenny and Jerry, looking confused yet astonished when they saw the car pull up to them with all its cameras and gadgets mounted on the top and side of the vehicle.
81-year-old Kenny, trying to understand what was going on, kept asking Amanda questions about the car, and what he couldn’t wrap his mind around was that there was no driver.
After they all got into the vehicle and it prompted them to buckle up, that’s when Kenny and Jerry started to get nervous and asked Amanda if it was safe for them to be riding around without a human driver.
The men were just blown away as the car took off driving on its own, cut corners, stopped at lights, and stayed a safe distance from other vehicles.
You could tell that riding around in the self-driving vehicle had made their day because they both couldn’t help but keep smiling from ear to ear.

At the end of the video, Kenny admits he’ll “never forget this,” while also adding, “The car did a better job than if someone was sitting in there driving!”
