Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, stepped into the spotlight of the Melbourne Fashion Festival 2024, swapping his signature khaki zoo uniform for a series of sharp designer outfits.
Robert Irwin Makes His Runway Debut
The 20-year-old wildlife expert, famously known for his work in wildlife conservation and numerous television appearances, walked the runway for the first time at the Suit Up Runway show on March 6 in Melbourne, catching everyone’s eye with his fun poses and stylish outfits.
Irwin seemed to be enjoying himself and his new career move, smiling the entire time as he walked down the catwalk in a snazzy all-black outfit with a tweed bomber jacket.
He then switched it up with a striking white tuxedo for a second look, complete with a black blazer and waistcoat. Irwin didn’t stop there though— he also wore a blue monochromatic outfit, rocking a velvet suit paired with a white turtleneck and matching shoes.
Throughout the event, he wore designs by Australian favorites like Tomba, Godwin, and Dom Bagnato, shining a light on their work. With his confident presence and sense of style, Irwin definitely made an impression on the fashion scene.
Robert Irwin expressed his excitement and gratitude for his runway debut at the Melbourne Fashion Festival on Instagram. Sharing photos from the event, he captioned his post with enthusiasm, saying, “Never imagined I’d be walking the runway, but here we are! Wow, thanks for an amazing night Melbourne Fashion Festival!!”
Big Changes For Robert Irwin
Irwin’s venture into the world of fashion follows closely on the heels of the recent announcement that he and his girlfriend, Rorie Buckey, had broken up after nearly two years together. Both Irwin and Buckey took to their Instagram accounts to share the announcement via their stories, marking a public acknowledgment of their decision to part ways.
On a brighter note, it has been disclosed that Robert Irwin is set to take on a new role as the latest host for the Australian TV show, “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” The reality television show involves celebrities living together in a jungle environment for several weeks, engaging in various challenges to compete for the titles of “King” or “Queen of the Jungle.”
