The doors to Elvis’ “Graceland” are being opened in a live TV special, “Christmas at Graceland.”

NBC is celebrating Elvis Presley with “Christmas at Graceland,” an upcoming live music special. This hour-long special is being produced by Riley Keough, Elvis’ granddaughter. The special is set to air Wednesday, November 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and will also be aired on Peacock.

“Christmas at Graceland” will be the first live televised event from the estate, but it sounds like it won’t be the last.

Riley Keough, Daisy Jones & The Six actress, said this special would be the first of its kind. If we are lucky, this might become a special we can look forward to every year. Keough, the daughter of late Lisa Marie Presley, said “My family and I are elated to open the doors to Graceland in this first-of-its-kind special. With intimate musical performances drawing inspiration from my grandfather Elvis’s cherished Christmases in Memphis, viewers will be invited to experience firsthand the magic that is Christmas at Graceland.”

“Christmas at Graceland” will showcase some of the biggest names in music.

“Christmas at Graceland” will “feature music’s biggest stars celebrating the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, his music and his favorite time of year, in an unprecedented holiday special live from his iconic home, Graceland,” according to a press release. A list of performers will be released closer to the air date.

“To celebrate the holidays at Graceland, and be a part of the King’s legacy, is both an honor and absolute dream come true,” stated Jen Neal (executive vice president, live events and specials, NBCUniversal Media Group). “We thank Riley and her family for allowing all of us to visit her grandfather’s iconic home and share an intimate musical experience that Elvis would’ve truly loved.”

Christmas was one of Elvis’ favorite times of the year.

Elvis has an impressive collection of Christmas music, including his legendary “Blue Christmas,” and “Here Comes Santa Claus.” Elvis’ 1985 album It’s Christmas Time, a reissue of his 1957 Elvis’ Christmas Album, made it to No. 2 on Top Holiday Albums in 2015. It’s Christmas Time also peaked at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart in 2018.

Christmas at Graceland will be produced by a production company co-founded by Keough and Gina Gammell, Felix Culpa, along with Done + Dusted and Authentic Studios.

Christmas at Graceland will give viewers an up close and personal view inside the legendary estate with this unique live TV special. You don’t want to miss it!
