Could A Country-Themed Super Bowl Halftime Show Coincide With The Big Game?

It was just over two months ago that Super Bowl LX was played, with the Seattle Seahawks defeating the New England Patriots. There was also the divisive halftime show, with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny performing a largely Spanish-language set.

The conservative organization Turning Point USA notably hosted its own counter-programming event, dubbed The All-American Halftime Show.

Even with all of that news, plans for the next few Super Bowl games are already underway, as the Super Bowl is a multi-billion-dollar undertaking. The 60th Super Bowl game alone — held on Feb. 8, 2026, in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California — had approximately 125.6 million viewers.

On Monday, April 20, during The Dan Patrick Show, sportscaster Dan Patrick revealed he’s heard that Nashville, Tennessee, is already being eyed to host the Super Bowl in 2030.

Saying he was informed by a source, who he did not disclose, Patrick revealed, “It is signed and ready to go, in his opinion, that Nashville is getting the 2030 Super Bowl.”

He added, “I haven’t seen any reports on this … this is what I was told.”

Next year, in 2027, the Super Bowl will be held in Los Angeles, California; the 2028 game will be in Atlanta, Georgia; and the 2029 game will be in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Near the end of his report, Patrick said that the 2030 game, which will be Super Bowl LXIV, or the 64th game, would be held at the new Nissan Stadium in Nashville, which is presently nearing the end of construction.

With Nashville being “Music City,” as it’s renowned for its country music scene, could the Super Bowl have a country-themed halftime show?

Next year, there’s a chance that the Super Bowl could have a country artist perform at the halftime show, with Morgan Wallen being favored following the 2026 game. Other performer names that are in consideration and are country-adjacent include Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.
