Reba McEntire Is 70 Years Old

Reba McEntire just celebrated a big birthday milestone when she turned 70 on March 28th.

The “Little Rock” singer just shared a sweet video on her social media platforms of her son surprising her for her birthday. The moment brought her to tears.

When asked on a recent red carpet about the surprise, she said,

“He told me he and his wife Marissa-they staged this whole thing that they were going to a baby shower in Chicago, and I was like, well, shoot. Uncasville’s not that far. They could have just come up here to see me. And then I walk in the room after the show, and there they are. And it really brought me to tears. I was really glad to see them and my other friends who had flown in for the show.”

Reba Shares The Fountain Of Youth

Reba was just honored and given a “Power Of Women Nashville” award for being an influential woman in music and entertainment. On the red carpet before the event, Reba showed up in a bright blue blazer and was interviewed by ExtraTV.

During that interview, the singer shared some insights on how she looks so young at 70 years old. She said,

“Lots of hydration, lots of sleep, eat good, be happy. Being happy is the main thing.”

Although sleep, hydration, and proper nutrition are common-sense answers, the description of “being happy” stood out to the interviewer, who pressed further by asking the superstar what makes her happy. She immediately responded that her boyfriend, Rex Linn, brings her happiness.

Reba shared what she loves about him and why he makes her so happy. She said,

“He supports me, I support him, and we really love working together, hanging out together. Whatever we do together, we have fun.”

So the secret, according to Reba? Be happy.
