How well do you know country stars and their extended families?
“Claim To Fame” is one of the hottest new reality shows to premiere in recent years. The show includes 12 ordinary people who are related to a celebrity, but they try to keep their identity a secret. Throughout the show, the contestants are given clues about each other’s famous relative and are eliminated if they guess another contestant’s relative incorrectly or if another contestant guesses their celebrity connection correctly.
We’re putting our twist on “Claim To Fame” and testing your knowledge of country stars and their not-famous siblings. In the list below we’re including a photo of the star and their sibling as kids and a more current photo of their sibling. You’ll also find some clues to help along the way. Answers can be found at the bottom of the post.

1. This lovely lady is the younger sister of one country music’s biggest stars. She and her big brother, a Grammy Award nominee with 21 No. 1 songs to his credit, are the children of a ’90s hitmaker who topped the charts with “Don’t Get Me Started” in 1996.
2. Musical talent runs deep in this family. This brother of a country music star is an accomplished musician and is married to an A-list actress. The two brothers were born 18 months apart and were as close as brothers can be. Unfortunately, they rarely share the stage together as the younger brother stays busy sharing the stage with his bandmates as one of country music’s most successful groups.
3. This proud sibling often shares the spotlight with her famous sister. They’ve teamed up to write cookbooks and can be seen cooking together on television.
4. This beautiful lady considers her country star sister her best friend. She has traveled to Nashville to be there for some of her sister’s biggest career milestones, including her Grand Ole Opry debut and recent induction and awards show wins. Her famous sister is the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year.
5. This duo are the older sisters of a Grand Ole Opry member and one of the best-selling female country artists of all time. At 10 and 13 years older than their famous sister, these two followed in the footsteps of their mom and became teachers. These proud sisters prefer to stay out of the spotlight but have attended a few of their little sis’s big career moments…like when she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
6. This country artist’s brother is his twin! Born in 1981 in Florida, these fraternal twins, born Josh and Jarrod, grew up playing sports and dreamed of having careers as professional athletes. But, a wakeboarding accident sidelined the star and led him to become a country singer. Upon moving to Nashville, Josh changed his name. His brother remained in Florida and is now a sales executive.
7. This lovely lady is big sister to a male country star who is married to a pop star. Her famous brother is not only a country singer, but a coach, television star, and entrepreneur. The two lost an older brother in a tragic car accident in 1990. They have remained close and she is one of her brother’s biggest fans.
8. Not only is this lady her famous sister’s lookalike, but she is a country star in her own right with 28 charting singles to her credit. The two have country music and a love for cooking in common. This sister competed on Masterchef UK in 2018 and recently released a cookbook with her famous big sis.
9. This lady is one of three younger sisters of one of the hottest male artists in country music. Her big brother has shattered records, sold out stadiums, and has an unlikely success story. After appearing on The Voice‘s sixth season, the country star struck out on his own and hustled his way to superstardom – with the full support of his sisters, of course.
10. This proud sister’s brother is an American Idol champ-turned-country music star. The siblings grew up living a “simple life” in North Carolina, with both attending North Carolina State University. The two remain close and she has been known to pop up at her famous brothers concerts on occasion.
11. This proud sister passed away in 2022 and was a vital part of her famous brother’s career from the beginning. As the first member of his band, she played piano and sang vocals for her brother for more than five decades. She released her debut solo album in 2007 and included two songs that she sang with her famous sibling.
12. Musical genes run deep in this family! This lady and her famous sibling grew up singing in a quartet with their older brother and sister. This youngest sibling went on to have a career of her own as a Christian artist. While her famous sister is a member of the Country Music Hall of fame, this proud sibling was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame and Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.
