The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards Were Held On Thursday, September 26
This year’s People’s Choice Country Awards had 18 awards to present, including The Male Artist of 2024.
The PCCAs, like the regular People’s Choice Awards, are fan-voted. In addition to the Male Artist category, country fans could vote for The Concert Tour of 2024, The Female Artist of 2024, and The Album of 2024, among other categories.
Male Artist nominee Zach Bryan led the nominations with 19. Beyoncé followed close behind with the second-highest number of nominations, totaling 17.
The 2024 PCCAs aired on Thursday (September 26) at 8/7c on NBC. Shania Twain hosted the ceremony, which was held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
Who Won The Male Artist Of 2024 Award?
The Male Artist of 2024 was one of the biggest awards the PCCAs had to hand out this year. There were eight nominees in the category, including:
Bailey Zimmerman
Chris Stapleton
Cody Johnson
Jelly Roll
Kane Brown
Luke Combs
Morgan Wallen
Zach Bryan
Jelly Roll is the reigning winner in the category. He also won The Male Country Artist award at the regular People’s Choice Awards earlier this year.
Did Jelly Roll claim the PCCAs Male Artist title for the second year in a row? Or did a new winner take the prize?
After much anticipation, The Male Artist of 2024 was revealed, and it is…Luke Combs!
It’s no surprise that Luke Combs won this award! He’s one of the most popular artists in country music, with recent hits such as “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” and “Where the Wild Things Are.”
Combs has over 6.9 million followers on Instagram and over 4.9 million followers on Facebook. We’d say more than a few of those fans voted for him to win this award!
Combs was not able to attend the ceremony this year, but his fans were still thrilled for his big win! Congratulations to him for winning The Male Artist of 2024 at this year’s People’s Choice Country Awards!
