The first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards were held at the Grand Ole Opry on Thursday, September 28. This is a unique awards show, because it is based on the People’s Choice Awards and as the name of show can tell you, it is fan-voted!

Little Big Town is hosting the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards.
Not only is Little Big Town hosting the show, they are also up for The Group/Duo of the 2023. They are up against seven other incredible acts. The nominees for Group/Duo of 2023 are as follows:

Kameron Marlowe and Jessie James Decker walked out from backstage to step into the iconic circle on the Grand Ole Opry stage and presented the award for The Group/Duo of 2023. And the group/duo award went to Dan + Shay!
The duo thanked their fans, their wives, and everyone watching from home. They revealed that about a year ago, they didn’t know if they’d ever stand on a stage together again, and her they are…winning awards!
