Paula Deen’s Former Estate Sells For Record-Breaking Price

The sprawling estate that celebrity chef Paula Deen once owned has sold for a record-breaking price…again.

In 2020, Deen sold her gorgeous Savannah, Georgia property for $6.8 million, setting a local record for the “highest amount ever paid for a home” in the area, according to Robb Report.

Now, three years later, the home was sold for $8.4 million, breaking its own real estate record!

Who Is Paula Deen?

Paula Deen is a TV personality and chef, best known for her shows Paula’s Home Cooking, Paula’s Party, Paula’s Best Dishes, and more.

She began her career when she took over a restaurant in the Best Western in Savannah. A few years later, she opened a restaurant with her sons called The Lady & Sons, and turned her mom and pop shop into an empire!

Deen has also published several cookbooks and is known for adding an insane amount of butter to her dishes! But they always look so tasty!

The property, which was listed for sale on October 18th for $8.7 million, has 14 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms in its 16,570 square-foot main house. The property also includes two guest cottages, a barn, an outdoor kitchen, and 300 feet of “deep water frontage.”

The sellers named the property “Vila Sacadura,” renaming it from Deen’s “Riverbend.” It also has a chef’s kitchen, a pool, hot tub, lots of gardens, and a private dock.
