Meet Blake Shelton’s sister, Endy—a vital part of the country music star’s journey.

About Endy Shelton

Endy Shelton, sister to country music sensation Blake Shelton, chooses to live a private life despite her connection to fame. While she remains largely out of the public eye, Endy is recognized within their home state of Oklahoma as a skilled jewelry designer. Her world revolves around her family, sharing a loving bond with her husband and their two children, Ryan and Jace.

Endy and her family hold a central place in Blake’s life, frequently enjoying family gatherings at his Oklahoma ranch alongside Blake and his wife, Gwen Stefani. Gwen affectionately described these gatherings as “tribal,” during an interview with Marie Claire in 2017.

“Blake has a sister, she comes with her kids. We cook and get muddy and dirty. There are ATVs. Being a mother of three boys, it’s kind of the perfect place,” Stefani said.

Beyond Oklahoma, the Shelton clan, including Endy’s family, have shown their support for Blake at events, such as his Star Ceremony on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame last year.

Family Made Blake Shelton Who He Is Today

Endy’s impact on Blake traces back to their early years in Oklahoma. Blake has commented in the past about how his sister encouraged him to step beyond his comfort zone as they grew up, going so far as to persuade him into taking a breakdancing class after seeing a newspaper ad that advertised dance lessons with a teacher who had apparently tought Michael Jackson.

“My sister, Endy, and I were like, ‘Hey, man, I’ll go if you’ll go. Like, let’s go. You wanna go?’’ Shelton revealed during an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show. It turns out that the country singer only took one breakdancing lesson, but that singular experience was sufficient to earn him the childhood nickname “Break It Down Blake.”

The supportive and lively atmosphere supplied by his family has been incredibly important in shaping Blake’s character.

“My family, it’s like they’re entertainers. Every single one of them,” he once told Cowboys & Indians. “They are so funny, and so much fun to be around. I know that’s where I got my sense of humor, and my ability to be an entertainer and not take myself so seriously. No one in my family takes themselves seriously.”

It’s safe to say, without the constant love and encouragement of his family, including Endy, Blake Shelton’s journey to success might have taken a different course.
