Luke Combs Wears A Kilt During Scotland Tour Stop

Luke Combs connected with his Scottish fans at Scotland’s Hydro Arena during his headlining performance on October 16, 2023. The country music superstar, known for his down-to-earth attitude and chart-topping songs, took to the stage to sing an 18-song set with an unexpected surprise at the end of the show.

After thanking the roaring crowd for their love and support, Combs returned for one more song decked out in a traditional custom-made Scottish kilt. Alongside the kilt, he rocked a sporran bag, his signature black Columbia PFG shirt, a Blue Otter Polarized hat, and black cowboy boots. It was a moment that had his Scottish fans absolutely lit up with excitement and cheers.

Combs said to his fans, “Scotland y’all have time for one more song tonight? Well listen, we have three and a half minutes together. I don’t know when I’m going to be back, but I’m gonna be back I promise you that… I want everything you got for the next three and a half minutes. My name is Luke Combs until next time, I love you baby, come on!”

Wear Did Luke Combs Get His Custom-Made Kilt?

According to reports from the Glasgow Times, Luke Combs visited MacGregor and MacDuff’s flagship Bath Street store to have the kilt custom-fitted. The decision to wear a kilt wasn’t just on a whim. He said it was a tribute to his Scottish heritage and his mother’s maiden name, the Fraser tartan.

Monique McPhie, the Head of Marketing at MacGregor and MacDuff, told the Glasgow Times, “We were delighted to help Luke connect with his Scottish heritage during his visit to Glasgow. It has been a joy to work with him over the past few weeks for his specially made kilt and have him visit us in-store for an authentic kilt shop experience. We are incredibly appreciative that he chose to represent in one of our kilts during the Scottish stop on his world tour.”
