Looks like Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, are raising a little farmer!

Their oldest son, Tex Lawrence, turned two on June 19, 2024. Celebrating his birthday last month, the Combs family pulled out all the stops with a cake that would make any country boy’s heart sing.

Nicole shared a series of photos on social media, summing up the family’s June adventures.

Tex’s birthday celebration was just one part of a month filled with vibrant bouquets of flowers, peaceful golf outings, and heartwarming family moments.

One particularly adorable snapshot featured the entire family, including their two sons, Tex (age two) and Beau (10 months), posing in front of a real-life tractor. The very next photo showed off Tex’s adorable John Deere green cake.

The cake featured mini crop patches, ears of corn, and a toy front-end loader, making it perfect for any young farming enthusiast. The words “Happy Birthday Tex” were written on the top in white icing.

Though the Combs’ kids, Tex and Beau, don’t have much of a social media presence—their parents prefer to keep their faces and lives private—Tex’s birthday cake certainly gives fans a glimpse into his interests. With such a detailed farm-themed cake, it’s clear that Tex is a big fan of farm vehicles!

Happy Birthday, Tex! Here’s to many more tractor cakes and country adventures!

Check out his cake in Nicole’s post below!

Luke Combs recently revealed that he missed the birth of his second son, Beau.

Beau arrived exactly two and a half weeks early while Combs was performing overseas. He vividly recalled waking up to a text from Nicole, who was on her way to the hospital.

“So it’s August 16th. I wake up in the morning, I’m in Sydney, Australia, in a hotel room, and we’re on tour in Australia. I probably woke up at around 8:00 AM or something like that, Australia time, and I had a text from my wife and it said, ‘I’m so sorry, I really tried to not have the baby while you’re gone…’ And God, dude, it sucked.”

Looking back on Beau’s birth, Luke recognizes that day as “a defining moment” in his life.

“It sums up, in a lot of ways, some of the bad parts of the music business — the leaving and your schedule’s crazy and you’re traveling all over the place. It’s not like I can drop everything I’m doing and fly 18 hours home.”

It’s clear that being a dad means the world to Luke. Watch the video below to hear one of his songs about fatherhood, “The Man He Sees In Me.”
