Luke Combs Shows Some Love For Tex On His Birthday
Country superstar Luke Combs shared a sweet message for his three-year-old son Tex on his birthday Thursday!
Tex, who was born three years ago on Father’s Day, is the oldest of Combs’ two sons, whom he shares with his adorable wife Nicole.
“T-Man. I can’t believe you’re 3 (for Dale) years old already,” the singer wrote. “I went through my phone this morning before you and your brother woke up to try and find these photos. That took me on a journey down memory lane that brought me to tears.”
Combs shared a variety of photos, many including the two of them fishing and spending time outdoors.
“We’ve had so much fun, made so many memories, and I can’t wait for the ones up ahead. Me and your Mama are so lucky to be your parents. We’re so proud of you, and we love you so much,” he continued.

Luke Combs Shares Glimpse Into His Family Life
Last month, Combs gave fans a rare glance into his personal life, sharing photos of Tex and his younger brother, Beau.
In the post, there are a few snapshots of the boys, but Combs is always cautious to protect their privacy. Whenever he posts them online, he makes sure their faces are never shown.
The post starts with a sweet video of Tex and Nicole stopping by while he’s filming a music video. Combs takes a break to greet them, and he jokes that the boy even gave him “some tips” on how to film it.
Further into the carousel, there’s a photo of Tex sitting behind the soundboard in the studio that same day, with his mom smiling down at him. It seems that Tex is already enjoying being part of his dad’s country music world!

Comb’s Recently Announced He Was Scaling Back Touring To Spend More Time With His Sons
Earlier this year, Combs said that he wanted to spend more precious time at home watching Tex and Beau grow.
“We’re only doing festivals this year,” Combs said. “We got 20-something shows this year. I’ve already done 10 of them. I got 14 more shows for the rest of the whole year. I want to be home with my kids. I want to see my kids grow up and I want them to know that they’re important to me.”
The country music star said that moving forward he wanted his children to know that his job is “not more important than they are.”
In June of 2024, Combs released his fifth studio album, Fathers & Sons, which featured a photo of him, his own father, and his two sons on the cover.
“Obviously, that’s kind of where my headspace is. It’s just kind of hard to focus on anything else other than that. That’s what my world is right now,” Combs said of the album. “I’m lucky to get to spend three or four days a week at home with the kids. We play two nights a week, so the rest of the days I’m home with them. That’s what I’m doing. I go out and play some shows and come home and make breakfast and lunches and naps and diapers.”
