Some Of Country Music’s Biggest Stars Welcomed New Babies This Year

Many country music stars had new babies in 2024. Some welcomed their first child, while others brought home a new sibling for their older children.

Artists including Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner, Kane and Katelyn Brown, and Brantley Gilbert and his wife Amber all welcomed new babies this year. We’ll introduce you to their new additions as this list continues.

The list also celebrates the birth of a few “bonus” members of the country music community who share family ties to a country star but weren’t born to a country artist themselves. Keep reading to see who!

“Nothin’ to Lose” singer Josh Gracin and his wife, Katie, welcomed a baby girl on January 24. They named her Madelaine “Lainey” Kate Gracin.

Baby Lainey is Josh and Katie’s second child. They also share a son, Luka. Josh has three daughters, Isabella, Gabriella, and Briana, and a son, Landon, from his previous marriage.

The Voice champion Jake Hoot and his wife, Brittney, welcomed their second daughter on January 31. They named her Emeline Claire Hoot.

Jake and Brittney’s eldest daughter, Madilyn, was born in 2022. Jake also has a daughter, Macy, from his previous marriage.

Jessie James Decker

Country singer Jessie James Decker and her husband, Eric, welcomed their fourth child on February 9. Jessie gave birth to a baby boy, Denver Calloway Decker.

The name “Denver” was surely chosen in honor of the Denver Broncos, the NFL team Eric played for from 2010 to 2013.

Baby Denver joined his older siblings Vivianne, Eric Jr. “Bubby,” and Forrest.

Gabby Barrett & Cade Foehner

American Idol alums Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner welcomed their third child this year. Their daughter, Ivy Josephine Foehner, was born on February 17.

Baby Ivy joined her two older siblings, sister Baylah May and brother Augustine Boone.

MacKenzie Porter

Canadian country singer MacKenzie Porter and her husband, Nashville actor Jake Etheridge, welcomed their first child this year. MacKenzie gave birth to a baby girl on March 14.

The couple named their daughter Bowen “Bowie” James Porter Etheridge.

Lewis Brice and his wife, Denelle, became first-time parents this year. They welcomed a baby girl on April 29.

The couple named their daughter Rhaelynn Dawn Brice.

Did you know Drew Scott of Property Brothers fame is also a country artist? He and his brother, Jonathan, have released a few country songs as The Scott Brothers.

Drew and his wife, Linda Phan, welcomed their second child, a daughter, on May 21. They named her Piper Rae. Baby Piper joined her big brother, Parker.

“Thank God” singers Kane and Katelyn Brown welcomed their third child this year. Katelyn gave birth to a baby boy on June 18. Keeping with their family’s “K” theme, they named him Krewe Allen Brown.

Little Krewe joined two older sisters at home, Kingsley and Kodi.

Mattie Jackson Smith

Here’s one of the “bonus” members of the country music community who had a baby in 2024!

Mattie Jackson Smith is the oldest of Alan Jackson’s three daughters. She and her husband, Connor Smith, welcomed their first child this year.

Mattie gave birth to a baby boy on June 20. She and Connor named him Wesley Alan Smith, with his middle name honoring Mattie’s father.

Country and Christian artist Olivia Lane and her husband, Chase Guyton, welcomed their first child this year. Olivia gave birth to a baby girl on July 2.

The couple named their daughter Millie Iris Guyton.

“Little Miss Saturday Night” singer Drew Parker and his wife, Mallory, welcomed their second child this year. Mallory gave birth to a daughter, Landry Tate Parker.

Baby Landry joined her big sister, Harley.

Hannah Blaylock, formerly of the country group Eden’s Edge, had her first child with her husband, Justin Wakefield, on July 8. The couple welcomed a baby girl.

Hannah and Justin named their daughter Lennon Walker Wakefield.

Lady A’s Dave Haywood surprised his fans in June by announcing that he and his wife, Kelli, were expecting their third child. Their son, Joseph Michael Haywood, arrived just one month later, on July 10.

Baby Joseph joined two older siblings at home, brother Cash and sister Lillie.

“Head Over Boots” singer Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer, welcomed their second child this year. Their daughter, Sienna Grace Pardi, was born on July 16.

Sienna is the couple’s second daughter. Their eldest, Presley, was born in February 2023.

Parker McCollum

Parker McCollum and his wife, Hallie, became first-time parents this year. They welcomed a son on August 8.

Hallie gave birth to a baby boy, who the couple named Major Yancey Tyler McCollum.

Here’s another bonus member of the country music family!

Jordan Eudy is the niece of country music star and American Idol judge Luke Bryan. Luke and his wife, Caroline, cared for Jordan and her siblings after both of their parents passed away within a few years of each other. Luke walked Jordan down the aisle when she married her husband, Clint.

Jordan and Clint welcomed their second child this year. Their son, John “Collier” Eudy, was born on August 17. He joined his older brother, Jonathan “Chesh.”

Kylie Frey

Country singer and America’s Got Talent alum Kylie Frey welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Joseph “Jo” Peasall, this year. She gave birth to a baby boy on August 31.

Kylie and Jo named their son Lee Berenger “Bear” Peasall.

Brantley Gilbert

No question, this is the most unique birth story featured on this list!

Brantley Gilbert was in the middle of a concert in Tupelo, Mississippi, on October 11 when he rushed offstage. His wife, Amber, was in labor…on their tour bus…in the parking lot!

After a short while, Amber gave birth to a baby boy, Abram Howell Gilbert. Brantley returned to the venue to tell the crowd about his son’s birth and then finished the show!

Baby Abram joined his two older siblings: brother Barrett and sister Braylen.

Whiskey Meyers frontman Cody Cannon and his wife, Haley, had their third child this year. Haley gave birth to their daughter, Carter May Cannon, on October 12.

Little Carter joined her two older brothers at home, Ripp and Townes.

Luke Grimes

Yellowstone star and country singer Luke Grimes welcomed his first child with his wife, Bianca, this year. Bianca first shared a photo introducing their baby boy to the world on October 9 and followed up with another photo on October 16.

As of this writing, Luke and Bianca have not revealed their son’s name or exact birthdate.

Taylor Kerr of Maddie & Tae and her husband, Josh Kerr, welcomed their second child this year. Tae gave birth to a baby boy, Chapel Shields Kerr, on October 29.

Baby Chapel had to stay in the NICU for a few weeks before he got to come home to his big sister, Leighton.

Eric Paslay and his wife, Natalie, welcomed their second child this year. Their daughter, Nova Vonne Paslay, was born on November 11. Nova joined her big sister, Piper.

Here’s another bonus member of the country music community…Luke Bryan’s other niece, Kris Cheshire!

Like her sister Jordan, Kris also welcomed a baby boy this year. She and her longtime boyfriend, Cameron Davis, welcomed their first child on December 23, just in time for Christmas.

The couple named their son Tilden “Ryles” Davis in honor of Kris’ younger brother, who’s also named Tilden. Kris called him “the most perfect gift.”
