Lady A’s Hillary Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrell, had their first child, daughter Eisele Kaye, on July 22, 2013.

Hillary and Chris later found out they were expecting again. Sadly, Hillary suffered a miscarriage, and she channeled her grief into her Grammy-winning song, “Thy Will.”

After so much heartbreak, Hillary and Chris were blessed with the birth of identical twin daughters, Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack, on January 29, 2018.

I wasn’t sure how identical they were gonna be because they are genetically identical, but they have different features,” Hillary told PEOPLE shortly after the twins were born. “It was a literal prayer — ‘Lord, please let me know how to tell them apart.‘”

Hillary and Chris always dreamed of having three children, and that dream came true with the twins’ arrival. On their sixth birthday, Hillary said:

“I adore you both with every beat of my heart and cell in my body. Your Daddy, too. And Big Sister…she thinks ya’ll both hung the moon. Happy 6th Birthday Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack.”

John Osborne of Brothers Osborne and his wife, country singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas, told PEOPLE they “went through a very long, tough journey with IVF” before they found out they were expecting.

We had an embryo transfer where we transferred two embryos thinking that would give us a better chance of getting one [baby], but we got two,” Lucie told the publication. “I think deep down, we were hoping for two.”

Their wish came true, and the couple learned in 2022 that they were expecting twins.

One thing I know for sure is that after such a long struggle, now that we’re here with twins, we have no idea what’s going to happen, but we want to celebrate every moment because you don’t want to spend your time worrying,” Lucie told PEOPLE.

Their twins, son Arthur and daughter Maybelle, were born one minute apart on March 21, 2023. The babies spent some time in the NICU before they finally got to come home in early April 2023.

Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, have five children. They welcomed their son, Waylon, in 2009, followed by their daughter, Ada, in 2010.

In 2017, Chris and Morgane announced they were expecting twins. The news came as a huge shock to Chris, who couldn’t stop “giggling” about it.

I think I laughed for about 20 minutes straight when they told us. I was just shocked,” he told TODAY‘s Willie Geist. “I didn’t know what else to do. … I was in shock. Shocked is the only word.”

It wasn’t a laugh, it was more like a giggle. He giggled for like 25 minutes,” Morgane added.

The couple’s twin boys were born one month early. Reba McEntire actually announced their birth live during the ACM Awards on April 15, 2018, when she accepted Chris’ Album of the Year Award on his behalf.

Chris and Morgane have only ever shared one picture of their twin sons, which you can see above. Their names are often reported to be Macon and Samuel.

The year after the twins were born, Chris and Morgane welcomed their fifth child, a son whose name has not been announced publically.

Chely Wright

Chely Wright and her wife, Lauren Blitzer, welcomed identical twin boys, George Samuel and Everett Joseph, on May 18, 2013. The twins were named after their great-grandfathers.

The boys weren’t due to arrive until July of that year, but they grew stronger with each passing day and were “thriving” despite their early birth.

Chely usually keeps her sons out of the spotlight but does share an occasional photo of them on social media.

The late Kenny Rogers had five children. He shared his two youngest kids…twin boys named Justin and Jordan…with his fifth wife, Wanda.

The twins were born on July 6, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia.

…when I was told it was twins, man, I was thrilled,” Rogers told The Independent in 2006. “So was Wanda. It wasn’t just ‘We are going to have a baby’ it was totally overwhelming.”

Sadly, Justin and Jordan were only 15 years old when Kenny passed away on March 20, 2020. They graduated from high school in 2023.

The late Loretta Lynn shared six children with her husband, Oliver “Doolittle” Lynn.

After welcoming sons Jack and Ernest and daughters Betty Sue and Clara Mae, Loretta gave birth to twin daughters Peggy and Patsy on August 6, 1964. Patsy was named after the late Patsy Cline, one of Loretta’s closest friends.

In a blog post she shared in 2022, Loretta revealed she didn’t know she was expecting twins until she gave birth. So it was a huge surprise to her when the doctor said, “It looks like there’s another.”

“These two are the best and I wouldn’t trade ‘em for the world,” Loretta said. “So if I had it to do all over again, I’d tell Dr. Hasty that one more sounds about perfect to me. It turned out in this case that two really are better than one.”

Patsy worked closely with her mother as a co-producer on some of her final albums. Patsy is also the mother of Emmy Russell, who placed in the Top 5 on Season 22 of American Idol. She delivered a beautiful rendition of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” while on the show.

Peggy and Patsy enjoyed singing careers as well. They formed a country music duo named The Lynns and released one album together, which included the hit singles “Woman to Woman” and “Nights Like These.” The duo was nominated for the CMA Award for Vocal Duo of the Year in 1998 and 1999.
