Lauren Alaina & Her Husband Cam Welcome Their First Child
Lauren Alaina and her husband Cam Arnold welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Beni Doll, on June 11th, 2025. Beni was born at 8:44 am, weighing 7 lbs 13oz and measuring 19 inches long.
“The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time,” Lauren said. “I will never be the same. You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter.”

Lauren and Cam first announced their pregnancy in January 2025. Lauren shared the news in a video for her emotional song, “Those Kind of Women.”
A week later, they revealed the gender of their first child in a black-and-white video that showed them painting their pet’s feet and placing their prints on a canvas. When the video turned to color, it revealed that the paw prints were pink for a baby girl!
Lauren has been very open about her postpartum journey, admitting she is adjusting to a new normal as she learns to balance her career and motherhood. She often shares videos on her social media about the highs and lows she has been experiencing.
Even at just a few months old, Lauren took Beni back on the road with her so she didn’t have to miss a moment.
Lauren Alaina Opens Up About Her Traumatic Birth Experience
While Lauren has spoken openly about her postpartum experience and suggested that Beni’s birth was traumatic, she has largely remained private and has not shared the full details of what happened.
However, while speaking with Bobby Bones on his podcast, the country singer opened up about the gravity of what occurred. Lauren recalls how while in labor, baby Beni’s umbilical cord was fully wrapped around her little body.
While Lauren said she didn’t know exactly what was happening, she did know something was very wrong.
“When I would push, it was pulling,” Lauren recalled.
She then shared that the doctor told her all of the different things he would potentially have to do to get the baby out safely, and that’s when Lauren’s adrenaline kicked in.
The country singer said in the next push, she was so determined she pushed her right out, relating it to someone lifting a car off of a child. Lauren then explained that hearing Beni’s cry changed her life “instantly.”
