Mark your calendars, country music powerhouse Lainey Wilson is set to perform at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards on February 18th. In posts shared across social media, the awards show announced that Lainey Wilson will take the People’s Choice stage during the 2024 ceremony for what they are already calling an “iconic performance.”
The People’s Choice Awards recognizes achievements across music, television, and film. The unique awards show puts the power in the hands of the people and allows them to vote and select the winners for each award.
Lainey Wilson is nominated for two People’s Choice Awards
Lainey Wilson is becoming a staple at awards shows, having just won Best Country Album at the Grammy’s and receiving the CMA Entertainer of the Year award in November.
Lainey Wilson has the opportunity to add a couple more feathers to her hat at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards. She is nominated for both Female Artist of the Year (all genres) and Female Country Artist of the Year.
Voting to determine who will take home these titles is now closed, and the winners will be announced during the ceremony February 18th. The People’s Choice Awards will air live on NBC, Peacock and E! at 8 p.m. ET on February 18th.
Lainey’s Wilson’s “Wild” performance at the 2023 CMA Awards
Lainey Wilson’s appearance on the People’s Choice stage is not her first time performing at an awards show and it certainly wont be her last. She took the stage at the CMA Awards in November and performed her single “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” Framed by a literal ring of fire, Lainey brought an energy to her performance that showed her star power and proved just why her career is taking off.
