Lainey Wilson is married! The “Heart Like a Truck” singer wed fiance Duck Hodges on Sunday, May 10.
Vogue broke the news of Lainey Wilson and Duck Hodges’ wedding, along with details about their big day. The outlet shared that the couple exchanged vows on Sunday at Ruskin Cave in Diskson, Tennessee.
“Duck and I were driving backroads in Tennessee and saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave,” Lainey explains about her venue choice. “Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal.’ We dropped by, saw the venue, and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property.”

The couple incorporated pieces of their own story and upbringing into their special day. Lainey honored her Louisiana upbringing by including a 12-piece jazz band and a Cajun dinner.
One of the most anticipated details of the day was the bride’s outfit. Lainey, who is rarely seen without her signature bell bottoms, stunned in a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta dress designed in partnership with Wilson’s stylist, Alexandra Mandelkorn. “The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” Lainey explained of the tiny details found on the neckline of her dress.
The exchange of vows took place at the foot of a waterfall, Vogue reported. “You could hear the water trickling down and birds singing, and we had a nice spring breeze,” Lainey told the outlet. “I arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage and walked down the aisle with my Deddy [sic] to join Duck at the altar.”
Lainey and Duck were wed by Lainey’s longtime friend and mentor, Wes Williams. A reception followed the ceremony, kicked off by a prayer said by Lainey’s mother.
The Wedding Reception
The reception was held inside an elaborately decorated cave. Colorful flower arrangements adorned the tables that were surrounded by green velvet seating.
Guests found their table assignments on mini cowboy hats; their names were written on the feathers.
“We settled in for a night of good food, good company, and good music,” Lainey shared. “Our family and friends know how to have a good time, and the dance floor was packed all night. To close out a perfect evening, Duck and I followed the band through a send-off line of sparklers and cheering loved ones, climbed into an old white Ford truck, and drove off!”
