Kelsea Ballerini Performs “Mountain With A View” at the People’s Choice Country Awards
The first ever The People’s Choice Country Awards brought together some of the biggest names in country music Thursday (September 28th) at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville to celebrate awards chosen by arguably the most influential group of people in the industry – the fans.
During the month of August, voters were given the opportunity to choose their favorite artists, albums, songs, and more of 2023.
Opry Member Kelsea Ballerini earned an impressive four nominations at the inaugural awards show, including a chance at the title of The People’s Artists of 2023.
Ballerini was one of many performers on the People’s Choice Country Awards, taking the stage with the most recent version of her song “Mountain With A View.”
Kelsea Ballerini recently released “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat (For Good)”
Ballerini made headlines earlier this year when she released “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat” following her highly visible split from then-husband and country singer, Morgan Evans. The raw lyrics led fans to speculate about what happened between the pair.
On August 11th, Ballerini released a second version of the album titled “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat (For Good)” which included the new song “How Do I Do This” and new versions of “Blindsided” and “Penthouse.”
The singer, who is known to never shy away from getting personal, had this to say (or rather request) about the re-release of the album:
“From the deepest and purest part of my heart, I ask that you help this be ours and let the music simply be the music, not dig back into the experience that it was written about nearly a year ago. As a songwriter, producer, artist I’m proud and protective of this EP, and as a woman and human also proud and protective of the new, happy season of life I’m in.” via Instagram

Ballerini stunned in a gorgeous gold dress as she took the stage to perform the song off her highly acclaimed EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, which she released back in February.
