Kelly Clarkson Covers Ashley McBryde’s Lindeville Track “Bonfire At Tina’s” During “Kellyoke” On The Kelly Clarkson Show
In September 2022, Ashley McBryde released her third studio album, Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville. It’s a concept album that tells the stories of various characters in the fictional town of Lindeville.
The album was co-produced by John Peets and John Osborne of Brothers Osborne. Brothers Osborne, Brandy Clark, Caylee Hammack, Pillbox Patti, and other friends of McBryde’s are featured on the various tracks.
Lindeville was praised by fans and critics alike for its creativity and storytelling. The album was nominated for Best Country Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards, but lost to Willie Nelson‘s A Beautiful Time.
One of the standout tracks from Lindeville is “Bonfire At Tina’s.” McBryde recorded it with Clark, Hammack, and Patti. They all performed the song together live at the 2023 ACM Awards.
Kelly Clarkson Earns Praise For Her Version Of “Bonfire At Tina’s”
Kelly Clarkson is a huge fan of country music. She often covers country songs during the “Kellyoke” segment of her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. We’ve heard her sing everything from Lainey Wilson‘s “Watermelon Moonshine” to Cody Johnson‘s “‘Til You Can’t.”
