About “Why Don’t We Just Dance”

Josh Turner’s hit song “Why Don’t We Just Dance” was released in August 2009 as the lead single from his fourth studio album Haywire. This catchy tune quickly soared to the top of the charts, marking Turner’s third number-one hit in his career. Impressively, it remained at the top spot for four weeks, making it his longest-running chart-topper to date. The song’s popularity continued to grow over the years, earning it a Gold certification from the RIAA. The track was Turner’s fourth single to achieve this milestone.

Kelly Clarkson’s rendition of “Why Don’t We Just Dance” arrives at the perfect moment, aligning with the debut of Josh Turner’s newest single, “Heatin’ Things Up,” which was released today.
