Katy Perry found herself in a fashion crisis during the latest episode of American Idol.

Katy Perry’s Fashion Crisis

The pop star, known for her bold fashion choices, wore a pricey Bottega Veneta dress worth $7,400 for her judging duties in a recent episode of American Idol. However, the avant-garde design of the dress caused some issues behind the scenes.

In a video shared on Perry’s Instagram, she can be seen struggling with the dress in a dressing room.

“I can’t get this dress off,” she revealed.

Despite suggestions to cut the dress’s fabric, Perry was adamant about not cutting it, passionate about the importance of the Bottega Veneta brand.

“You just can’t cut Bottega,” she insisted.

And while she didn’t divulge how she eventually managed to remove the dress, one can only hope she remained true to her stance and refrained from cutting it!

Katy Perry’s Future On “Idol”

Despite the fashion hiccup, Perry remained dedicated to her judging duties alongside fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan in the most recent episode of American Idol

In the latest episode of the singing competition, judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan faced the challenge of eliminating over half of the 143 contestants, ultimately narrowing the field down to just 24 hopefuls.

The announcement of the Top 24 for American Idol Season 22 has left fans eagerly anticipating who will emerge as this season’s champion.

It was also recently revealed that this marks Katy Perry’s final season as a judge on American Idol after seven seasons. Perry announced the news during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, citing a desire to focus on her personal projects as the reason for her departure from the show.

“I think this probably will be my last show, my last season for Idol. I mean I love Idol so much. It’s connected me with the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat…”
