Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Jae have finally recorded a duet together! On Sunday, Brown shared a preview of the song, “Thank God,” with fans on social media.
“First teaser (Thank God) with my wife @katelynbrown ❤️ so excited ?,” Kane captioned the clip. He added that the song will be released Friday (September 9) on his album, Different Man.

Kane teased the duet during an interview with Bobby Bones earlier this year. He told the radio host that Katelyn will be singing a full verse and chorus on the duet. He also shared that she was nervous about going into the studio, but had no reason to be.
“She’s killing it,” Brown said. “She went in, and she had no reason to be nervous.”
Katelyn is a talented singer-songwriter in her own right, having released some songs before she and Kane married. After releasing songs like “Perfect” and “24KT,” Katelyn decided to go back to college and earned a business management degree.
“I fell in love with the business side and my husband and I talk a lot about starting our own label or publishing company,” she told Parade. “But then I also have this extreme creative side of me that loves to write, who loves to sing.”
Kane and Katelyn met in person for the first time in 2016, one year after he was supposed to appear in one of her music videos. A mutual friend of the pair invited Katelyn to one of Kane’s shows, but she was less than enthusiastic about it.
“She didn’t want to come and he forced her basically,” Brown shared. “We met, we didn’t talk at all, I maybe said ‘hey’ to her, but I thought she was adorable, looking at her all night.”
The following night, Kane sent her a DM and asked her out, flying her to join him. “And she hasn’t left since,” Brown told Taste of Country Nights.
The couple got engaged in 2017 and married the following year. Kane and Katelyn now share two daughters, Kingsley Rose (who will turn 3 in October) and Kodi Jane (10 months).
