Kane Brown Brings #1 Hit “Bury Me In Georgia” To The People’s Choice Country Awards
The first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards were held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on Thursday (September 28). The event was hosted by Little Big Town.
All winners at the People’s Choice Country Awards were chosen by fans. People got the chance to vote for their favorite artists, albums, songs, music videos, and tours from August 16-August 25.
Kane Brown earned an impressive total of six nominations, including a nod in the People’s Artist of 2023 category.

Brown was also one of the performers on the People’s Choice Country Awards. He took the opportunity to share a performance of his #1 hit, “Bury Me In Georgia.”
“Bury Me In Georgia” was released in March 2023 as the fifth single off of Brown’s album, Different Man.
In addition to topping the Country Airplay chart, “Bury Me In Georgia” also reached the 34th spot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart. It became a #1 country hit in Canada as well.

Chris Young introduced Brown’s performance, calling him one of his favorite people to perform and collaborate with. He’s speaking from experience, since they recorded a duet called “Famous Friends” together!
Brown proved why he’s so much fun to work with by delivering a red-hot performance of “Bury Me In Georgia” at the People’s Choice Country Awards. The whole thing ended with a fiery fiddle solo that had the audience roaring with applause at the conclusion.
