Jordan McCullough Shares Heartfelt Tribute To Hannah Harper And Keyla Richardson
Season 24 of American Idol will come to a close with a three-hour finale celebration tonight, May 11th. Jordan McCullough paused from the frenzy of the competition to share a heartfelt message to his fellow finalists, Hannah Harper and Keyla Richardson, on Mother’s Day.
Hannah is a mother of three, and her original song “String Cheese” tugged on the heartstrings of parents everywhere. Keyla’s son, Drew, accompanied her to her audition and has been her biggest cheerleader throughout the competition.
Jordan celebrated his new friends and wrote:
“Watching you continue to chase your dreams while also carrying the weight and responsibility of motherhood is beyond inspiring. You have been given a supernatural grace to do this. The Lord trust you both so much to carry out this promise! What a gift!”
Jordan emphasized how proud he is of Hannah and Keyla for the example they have set. He added:
“Your strength doesn’t just show in the big moments but in the everyday sacrifices, the consistency, the perseverance and the love you pour into your families!”

Hannah Harper Responds
Hannah Harper responded to Jordan’s tribute with heartfelt words of her own. She wrote:
“I’m so incredibly thankful for the friend I’ve found in you. You’ve been such a crucial part of this journey keeping me grounded, focused, joyful, and constantly reminding me not to lose sight of what matters most.”
She continued:
“Thank you for being someone I could lean on through every step of this. Your heart is one of the purest I’ve ever known. You have such a gift for seeing people, loving them well, and carrying yourself with so much humility and kindness even in the middle of chaos.”
Keyla Richardson Echoes The Sentiment
Similarly, Keyla Richardson shared a message of gratitude for her fellow contestant. She wrote:
“Thank you for being not just a friend but a brother to me. Even on the days where I would shut down, you still checked on me and came to see about me! You are so amazing! Absolutely one of my fav vocalist, your gift and talent is undeniable!”
