Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, has shared a new health update with fans following a recent CT scan.

On Tuesday (July 23), Bunnie XO revealed that she recently received some “pretty scary” news about her health. After experiencing some “really weird headaches,” she went in to get tested. When she got the results back, the doctors concluded that she may have an internal carotid artery aneurysm.

The Cleveland Clinic states that an internal carotid artery aneurysm is “a bulge in one of the arteries supplying blood to your brain and nearby structures.”

As the aneurysm increases in size, the level of risk and potential harm it poses also escalates.

“Anybody that knows me knows that having an aneurysm is one of my biggest fears because my mom had one, and it actually ruptured, but she lived,” Bunnie said.

The test results showed, but didn’t completely confirm, that she had a two-millimeter aneurysm, which is “extremely small,” according to Bunnie. Luckily, Bunnie received a different opinion when she went in for a visit with a neurosurgeon.

Bunnie told her followers on social media that she didn’t get contrast during her first test, so the image was unclear. So, the next step was to see a neurosurgeon and get a CT scan with more contrast to get a clearer image, which she has now done.

Not long after Bunnie first shared the scary news with fans, she took to social media again to share a new health update. This time, she had a more positive update to share.

On Friday (July 26), Bunnie told fans the good news:

“I went today and I saw my first neurosurgeon, and he was amazing…He told me that he does not think that it is an aneurysm,” Bunnie said. “He also thinks that in six months, whenever I come back to retest and do another CT scan, that he will be able to prove that it is an artifact. His words were, ‘I don’t even know why the radiologist sent you in for this.'”

An MRI artifact refers to an image feature that appears on a scan due to various factors, but does not actually correspond to anything present in the person or object being imaged.

Bunnie concluded her video, saying,”Praise Jesus that I got that cleared,” and telling fans she will be getting a second opinion next week.

We hope all goes well for Bunnie at her next appointment. We are praying for her to get good news.
