Jelly Roll Reacts Upon Learning About His First-Ever Grammy Nominations

There’s no doubt that 2023 was Jelly Roll’s breakout year. Now, 2024 is already shaping up to be another great year for the “Need a Favor” singer.

This year, Jelly Roll won three CMT Music Awards, four People’s Choice Country Awards, and the CMA Award for New Artist of the Year. He just took home the latter award on Wednesday (November 8).

“There’s something poetic about a 39-year-old man winning New Artist of the Year. I don’t know where you’re at in your life or what you’re going through, but I want to tell you to keep going, baby. I want to tell you that success is on the other side. I want to tell you it’s gonna be okay. I want to tell you that the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror for a reason,” he said in his powerful acceptance speech.
