On Thursday, July 25th, Jason Aldean, in a joint effort with Make-A-Wish, made a young boy’s dream of meeting his favorite artist come true.
Jason Aldean is in the middle of his Highway Desperado tour, which he announced in November 2023, and is set to continue through October with a Hometown show in Macon, Georgia. The tour has many special guests, including Lauren Alaina, Haley Whitters, Chase Matthew, Austin Snell, and Dee Jay Silver, who are joining him on various legs of the tour.
Jason Aldean Gets To Meet Frankie, A 12-Year-Old Suffering From Muscular Dystrophy
The most special moment from this tour so far happened on his Savannah, Georgia, stop where he met a 12-year-old boy named Frankie who suffers from muscular dystrophy. Later that day, the young boy was quoted on the Make-A-Wish Facebook page saying:
“This was the best day ever!”
This “best day ever” started with a surprise for Frankie; he was ecstatic to find that he would be meeting his favorite artist and riding there in a limo! After the limo ride, he was ushered to the VIP lounge, where he awaited to meet his hero.
When Jason joined the VIP lounge, he gave a private concert to the VIP guests. After this it was finally time for Frankie to meet the “Let Your Boys Be Country,” artist. The Make-A-Wish Host wrote this of their meeting on their Facebook page:
“Frankie was originally very shy. Jason got down to Frankie’s level, asked questions, and talked about living in Florida like Frankie.”

After some time, Frankie warmed up and was excited to talk with Jason. Once their meeting was over and Jason had left, Frankie remembered that he had forgotten to tell Jason something! One of the staff went and got Jason. He returned so that Frankie could share the full story of the limo ride with him.
Frankie’s mom was quoted saying:
“It was an experience beyond words. As a longtime fan of Jason Aldean, to see my son share that love and get to meet him was a dream come true. We’ll treasure this memory forever.”
