1923 Just Announced Its Season 2 Release Date

Fans are excited to learn that Season 2 of 1923 will return on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

1923 is the prequel to Yellowstone. The series follows the start of the decades-long battle of people trying to steal the land from the Dutton family.

The Dutton family ended Season 1 of 1923, with the surviving members being Jacob Dutton, married to Cara Dutton, the brother of James, who originally founded the ranch.

James was the lead in 1883 and was portrayed by Tim McGraw.

Another remaining family member is Spencer Dutton, James’ son and a World War I veteran who became a hunter in Africa until he met his love interest, Alex.

Lastly, the other remaining Dutton is Jack Dutton, James’ grandson, who is married to Elizabeth. That is the current family as we know it at the end of Season 1.

Season 1 of 1923 concludes with an impending battle for land. Spencer and Alex find themselves separated, while Jack and Elizabeth mourn the loss of their baby.
