Gwen Couldn’t Make It For Blake’s Last Voice Episode, But She Filmed A Sweet Video For Him
Blake Shelton‘s wife, Gwen Stefani, was unable to attend his last episode of The Voice. According to ET, Stefani had a prior commitment out of town, which is why she couldn’t be there.
Stefani did film a piece for her husband’s final Voice episode. Clips of her speaking were intertwined with footage of her and Shelton on The Voice through the years.
She said:
“Who would have thought that this Orange County girl and this country guy from Oklahoma would find each other on the set of The Voice?”
When host Carson Daly asked Shelton what he thought about the clip, he said:
“At least once a week, we stop and go, ‘Can you believe that happened?’ It’s been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me in my life.”

Gwen Makes Surprise Appearance To Celebrate With Blake After The Voice Finale
Although Stefani wasn’t able to make it to Shelton’s last show, she was able to make it to the after-party. Though he didn’t have any idea she’d be there.
Stefani filmed herself as she snuck up on her husband at the party. He was so surprised when he saw she made it!
The couple danced, kissed, and celebrated with a star-studded group of guests. Among those guests were former members of Team Blake, such as Danielle Bradbery, Craig Wayne Boyd, and RaeLynn. Other guests included Shelton’s fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, and Niall Horan.
According to ET, Horan could be seen dancing with some of his friends and Gina Miles, his team member who won Season 23!

The video Stefani filmed of the party makes it look like everyone had a great time. At one point, the DJ started playing her band No Doubt’s “Just a Girl,” and everybody went wild.
