Get All The Details About The Upcoming Season Of The Voice, The First Without Blake Shelton

A new season of The Voice premieres in less than a week! This season will be a bit different, since it will be the first one without longtime coach Blake Shelton.

Shelton left the show after Season 23. He holds the record for the most wins of any coach, with a total of nine.

Reba McEntire stepped up to serve as his replacement. It seems fitting, since she was his team advisor for the show’s first season.

As mentioned previously, Reba McEntire joins the cast as the new resident “country” coach on The Voice. Former coaches Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Niall Horan round out the panel.

Horan is the only coach returning from Season 23. He also won that season, so he’s the reigning champion!

You aren’t wrong! Country duo Dan + Shay will be the first coaches to occupy a “double chair” on the U.S. iteration of The Voice. But they signed up to coach the next season, Season 25.

That season will air in early 2024. In addition to Dan + Shay, McEntire, Legend, and Chance the Rapper will coach the hopeful contestants on Season 25. Chance previously served as a coach during Season 23 with Horan.

But before we get to see Dan + Shay in action as the first duo to coach The Voice, we have Season 24 to look forward to!
