The finale of Season 10 of The Masked Singer aired Wednesday, December 20th on Fox.

Fox’s hit show The Masked Singer has just concluded its 10th season with an exciting finale on Wednesday (Dec 20). If you’re new to The Masked Singer, it is a competitive singing show where celebrities dress up in elaborate disguises to mask their identity from the host, panelists, audience, and other contestants.

Season 10 features a variety of new costumes including “Cow,” “Donut,” “Sea Queen,” “Gazelle,” and more.

John Schneider, star of Dukes of Hazzard, was among the final three contestants on The Masked Singer

As always, The Masked Singer had a star-studded lineup of contestants this year from all corners of the entertainment industry. Among them was actor and singer John Schneider who is best known for his role of Bo in the beloved television series The Dukes of Hazzard

During the finale, Schneider performed two songs: “You Are So Beautiful,” by Joe Cocker and “Drift Away,” by Dobie Gray. His alter ego for the season was a bright and colorful donut, complete with a chef’s hat and lots of sprinkles.

THE MASKED SINGER

For most of the season “Donut” had the judges stumped as to their real identity and by the finale, only one of the four had guessed correctly that it was Schneider behind the mask.

The runner-up for Season 10 of The Masked Singer is… John Schneider!

Throughout the season “Donut” a.k.a. Schneider shared often of his grief journey after having lost his wife earlier this year, and how his experience on The Masked Singer has contributed to his healing in a great way. He shared:

“This has been a really good experience, being here, because most people don’t know that I love to sing… A couple of years ago [my wife] said, ‘Hey baby, we’re going to get you on The Masked Singer. So, people can finally see what you can do.’ This is really a dream come true for me, because I can honor her through doing it. Every performance has been a love letter to her. And I know she’s been on that stage with me, every step of the way.”

In the end, John Schneider took home second place behind R&B singer NeYo. Congrats, John!
