Meet John Luke & Mary Kate Robertson
Duck Dynasty fans watched the Robertson family’s kids grow up over the course of the show’s 11 seasons on the air. John Luke, Willie and Korie‘s eldest son, even had his wedding filmed for a special episode of the series.
He married Mary Kate McEachern in the summer of 2015. Millions of people tuned in to watch their wedding during Season 8 of Duck Dynasty.
It’s hard to believe that was nearly eight years ago now!
John Luke and Mary Kate welcomed their first child four years later. They had a son, and named him John Shepherd.
The couple later welcomed daughter Ella Kathryn in 2021.

Another Duck Dynasty Baby Is On The Way
John Shepherd is three years old, and Ella Kathryn just turned two on April 8. Now, their family has another reason to celebrate.
On Wednesday (April 19), John Luke and Mary Kate shared they’re expecting their third child! The couple shared the news alongside a photo of them and their kids next to a miniature baby carriage holding a set of sonogram photos.
“Full hands, full hearts!!!” Mary Kate captioned the picture. Mary Kate also shared that Baby #3 is due “this fall” and they’re all “excited” for the little one’s arrival. She and John Luke did not share if they’re expecting a boy or a girl.

The new Duck Dynasty baby will be grandbaby #7 for Willie and Korie. Their eldest daughter, Rebecca, has two children. Their daughter, Sadie, has a nearly two-year-old daughter and another baby girl on the way.
John Luke and Mary Kate’s new addition will have lots of cousins to play with. We’re so happy for them and their growing family!
