In May of 2025, Willie’s father, Phil Robertson, passed away. Just one week later, Willie and his family returned to television in a rebooted version of their hit reality show Duck Dynasty.
Duck Dynasty: The Revival, follows Willie and Korie, their sons John Luke and Will, and daughters Sadie, Bella, and Rebecca. Their youngest son Rowdy was away at college during filming. The show also introduced fans to all of their children’s spouses and their nine grandchildren.
The couple remains extremely close with their children, and often post pictures and every day outings with their grandchildren.

Korie Shares The Meaning Behind Her Children’s Names
In a video posted to social media on Thursday, Korie shared a little more about the meaning behind each one of her children’s names.
She started out by explaining the meaning behind her oldest, John Luke. Korie shared that John was her father’s name, and Luke was her grandfather’s name.

Next, she said that with her daughter, Sadie, she just “loved the name.” The middle name, Carroway, is after Willie’s mother, Miss Kay’s, maiden name.

Then, Korie explained that their adopted son, Willie, is of course after Willie senior.
Korie told the story of Bella’s name, which came from their time spent in Italy. She shared the story of an Italian man calling her and her friends “Bella Ragazze,” which meant beautiful girls.

Korie finished by explaining their youngest, Rowdy’s name. Rowdy came to the Robertson at 12 years old, so while he already had a name, she said he couldn’t fit in better with their family.
