Drew Baldridge & Wife Katie Welcome Their Second Baby Boy
Congratulations to country music singer Drew Baldridge and his wife, Katie, on their precious new bundle!
The couple first announced they were expecting their second child back in November, later sharing that they were expecting another boy!
“Welcome to the world, Ronen Rael Baldridge 💙 His name couldn’t be more perfect—“a joyful song seen by God.” We’re all home and doing well after a wild 24 hours, and our hearts are so full,” Drew wrote in the caption.
The country singer posted a carousel of images, including a shot with baby boy Ronen and Drew’s three-year-old son, Lyric.
“We can’t wait to share more of Ronen’s special birth story soon. In the meantime, we’d love extra prayers for Katie over the next few days because she had some minor complications 🙏,” he continued.
Drew Baldridge’s Career In Country Music
Drew has been around the country music scene for over a decade now. He released his debut single, “B.Y.O.B.,” in 2013. His debut studio album, Dirt on Us, came out in 2016. He embarked on a tour with Lee Brice and Cole Swindell to promote the album.
Drew scored his first Country Airplay hit with his 2016 single, “Dance with Ya.” He earned three additional hits on the same chart in the years that followed: “Rebound,” “Guns & Roses,” and “Senior Year.”
Then, in 2019, Baldridge released the original version of a song that country fans now know and love. That song is called “She’s Somebody’s Daughter.”
“She’s Somebody’s Daughter” expresses how a woman is so much more than “a pretty face” or “a last-call kiss.” While the song didn’t gain traction right away, two years after its release, the tune started going viral online. That same year, Baldridge married his wife.
You can watch the music video for that song below.
Drew & Katie Welcome Big Brother Lyric In 2022
In December of 2022, Drew and Katie welcomed their older son and first child, Lyric Lee Baldridge. Lyric was born in Nashville, weighing 7 lbs., 8 oz., and measured 19 inches at birth.
The couple made history when they decided to do the very first gender reveal at the Grand Ole Opry. When Lyric was born, Drew shared the meaning behind his name, saying it had been “in the back of my mind for years.”
“Being a songwriter and musician, it felt like a perfect fit. We’ve had a boy name and girl name picked out for as long as we can remember so luckily that’s something we didn’t have to stress much about,” Drew said at the time.
The country singer and his wife often post photos of Lyric traveling along with them and backstage at Drew’s shows.
