Chris Stapleton Reschedules Three Concerts Due To Illness

Chris Stapleton unfortunately had to postpone three shows on his All-American Road Show Tour. Stapleton shared the news of the postponements on social media on Wednesday (October 11).

The affected shows were scheduled to occur in Corpus Christi, Texas, Houston, Texas and Lafayette, Louisiana on October 12, 13, and 14, respectively. Stapleton apologized for being “unable to perform,” and explained the reason is due to illness.

Stapleton said:

“To all my friends in Corpus Christi, Houston, and Lafayette, I am very sorry to let you all know that I am unable to perform this weekend’s shows. I have bronchitis and laryngitis, and on doctor’s orders [I] am on vocal rest through the weekend in order to heal.”

Stapleton said he was “grateful” for everyone’s “patience and understanding.” He is looking forward to seeing his fans in Corpus Christi, Houston, and Lafayette in November.

It seems likely Stapleton will attend the ceremony, especially since he has a new album dropping on November 10. Titled Higher, the album will contain already released songs such as “White Horse” and “Think I’m In Love With You.”

“White Horse,” which is the lead single, has galloped up the charts since its release. The official audio clip on YouTube has over 2.7 million views at the time of this writing. Listen to it below.

We hope Stapleton gets to feeling better soon!
